Eligibility Requirements
For a higher, tertiary or secondary education institution outside of the United States to become a member of the College Board, it must fulfill the criteria below:
- Be accredited by an appropriate accrediting body
- Demonstrate the use of College Board programs and services
Accreditation
For non-U.S. institutions, the College Board will accept accreditation from the accrediting bodies listed below:
- National ministry or government body
- International accrediting body (such as Council of International Schools)
- Regional accrediting association in the United States
- Program accrediting body
- Other accrediting bodies on a case-by-case basis
Use of College Board Programs and Services
Secondary schools must document regular and substantial use of one or more of the following College Board programs or services:
- Advanced Placement Program® (AP®)
- CollegeEd®
- CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE®
- PSAT/NMSQT®
- Pre-AP®
- Preliminary SAT Scoring Service (PSSS)
- Professional development (annual forum, regional forums, workshops, etc.)
- SAT®
- SAT Subject Tests™
- SpringBoard®
Higher and tertiary education institutions must document regular and substantial use of one or more of the following College Board programs or services:
- ACCUPLACER® and WritePlacer®
- Advanced Placement Program® (AP®)
- College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP®)
- CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE®
- Professional development (annual forum, regional forums, workshops, etc.)
- Recruitment PLUS™
- SAT®
- SAT Subject Tests™
- Student Search Service® (SSS®)
