Eligibility Requirements
For a two-year or four-year college or university, public or private, to become a member of the College Board, the institution must do the following:
- Grant degrees
- Be appropriately accredited
- Use College Board programs or services
- Adhere to a policy of nondiscrimination
Accreditation
Higher education institutions are eligible for membership if accredited by one of the six regional accrediting associations or by a similarly recognized accrediting body.
Use of College Board Programs or Services
Higher education institutions must document regular and substantial use of one or more of the following College Board programs or services:
- ACCUPLACER® and WritePlacer®
- Advanced Placement Program® (AP®)
- College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP®)
- CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE®
- SAT®
- SAT Subject Tests™
- Student Search Service® (SSS®)
